Minor Barre Chord Shape

"What is a Guitar Chord Shape?"

A Guitar Chord Shape is a constant fingering that you maintain. When you move this fingering up and down the fretboard you will produce different chords.

Minor Barre Chord Shape

This minor chord shape is one of the most popular chord shapes that you will come across following the major barre chord shape.

Note: This fingering is one of the more complicated fingerings out there. Probably the hardest part of getting this chord shape down is the first finger. The first finger you have to barre across the fret so that it sounds three notes. If you can't get all the notes to ring, move your finger down towards the low e and the farther you move it, the better the notes should sound.

Minor Barre Chord Shape

This fingering is similar to the major barre chord shape. The only difference is you only sound 5 notes and the fingering's one note different.
