I even saw them once at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix and they played an amazing show. Mike Ness still has it even though he’s gotta be like 50 now! How Do I Make My Guitar Sound Like Mike Ness’ In This Song?

To make your guitar sound like Mike’s… I would definitely recommend using any acoustic 6 string guitar. I would also make sure that you use lighter strings on your guitar – it definitely sounds like Mike uses the lighter guitar strings on this particular song. Also don’t forget to use a capo on the first fret. That’s the same way that Social Distortion play Angel’s Wings so remember to clamp it on there!

This song is one of my acoustic punk favorites all the way up there with Green Day Good Riddance or some of the slower Weakerthans stuff. It definitely shows us that there is still a ton of emotion in punk and old punk still can rock even harder than the new stuff. Thanks Mike Ness for another awesome song!
